  • Two accessible parking bays in the south side rear carpark.
  • Bays are clearly identified, outdoors, on a level bitumen surface, 5.5 metres long and 3.3 metres wide.
  • Vehicle access from: Barrington Street
  • Pedestrian access:
    • There is a level surface between the bays and the paved footpath to the entrance, with a change in direction.

External access and entrance
  • A small carpark is located at the main entrance, access to the entrance is via six steps without a handrail.
  • A larger carpark is provided to the south, rear side of the building and has level access to the entrance via a wide paved footpath.
  • Double swing door 83cm wide when one door is open.  They are heavy to open and fast to close with a flat pull handle. 
  • There is a small step up at the door.

Internal area
  • Spacious entrance with carpeted and tiled floor with sufficient space for users of wheelchairs and walking aids to reach all areas.
  • Information brochures are on display at standing height.  Staff assistance is available if required.
  • Service counter is at standing height.

Cafe, dining and food outlet
  • A cafe and viewing area is located adjacent to the main entry foyer. 
  • Entry is through double swing doors 90cm wide when one door is open.  It is medium weight to open, had a D handle and is slow to close.
  • Customers seat themselves on arrival and place their orders and pay at the counter.
  • The ordering counter and food is displayed at standing height.
  • There is a queuing rail, with a 1.1 metre wide gap between the rail and counter.
  • The moveable tables have a central pedestal, and the dining chairs are plastic with armrests.
  • The menu is clear print with good colour contrast.
  • Floor surface is soft fall rubber.

  • Availability: The toilet is locked, key available from staff.

  • Description:
    • The unisex accessible toilet is off the first aid room.
  • Signage: The unisex accessible toilet is clearly identified.
  • Main entrance: To enter the unisex accessible toilet there is a swing door 81cm wide which is heavy to open and fast to close. This door is locked and staff assistance is required to open.
  • Toilet door: The swing cubicle door has no handle and is light to open and requires closing. It is 80cm wide and has a large lock.
  • Pan height: 42cm
  • Handrails: Provided.
  • Basin height: 82cm
  • Lighting: On at all times.

Skating Arena
  • Access from foyer is through double swing doors, heavy to open and slow to close. Doors are 75cm wide when one door is open.
  • Access from the cafe to the arena is through plastic insect strips.
  • Floor surface around the arena is soft fall rubber.
  • Viewing area is tiered bench seating, with handrails available on one set of stairs.
