External access and entrance
The gallery comprises a range of small buildings set in a garden landscape. Walkways between the galleries follows the contours of the garden and is predominately on level, even, paved paths. There is some directional signage to galleries in good colour contrast.

Cafe, dining and food outlet
Tea Garden
  • Off the gravel driveway through a wide entrance.
  • Variety of tables, 76cm high with 74cm knee clearance, some chairs with armrests.
  • Self serve water at sitting height.
  • Handwritten blackboard menu, in chalk, table menus have large print letters in good colour contrast.
  • In fine weather some tables are set out on the grass.

  • Description: There are two toilets, the information below relates to the male toilet. The female toilet has a mirror image layout.
  • Signage: Identified as ladies and gentelmen's toilets.
  • External access: Paved path, the narrowest gap is 83cm.
  • Toilet door: An 87cm wide door with a lever handle and large lock. Door is light to open with no self closing mechanism.

Main Gallery
  • Entrance door is 90cm wide with a 2cm lip, held open.
  • Enough space in the ground floor of this main building for users of wheelchairs and walking aids to move through.
  • Payment counter is at sitting height.
  • The upstairs gallery has wooden stairs with handrails.
  • A second room off the main building is through a 77cm wide door.

Garden Studio Textile Gallery
  • An 80cm wide corridor requiring a change in direction through a 78cm wide door, which may restrict access for medium to large size wheelchairs.
  • Small gallery with concrete floor and gaps between moveable displays up to 90cm.
  • Staff are available to assist as required.

  • An 84cm wide door with a D handle. Heavy to open.
  • Paved internally.
  • There is enough space in this gallery for users of wheelchairs and walking aids to reach most displays.
