External access and entrance
- Access to the museum from the accesisble parking bay is approximately 50 metres across the car park.
- A kerb ramp onto the wide paved area, shared with the Visitor Centre.
- Museum is opened on request and for security reasons all visitors are accompanied by a Visitor Centre staff member.
- Side door is more accessible than the main entrance door. It is 86cm wide with a 4cm external with an internal lip.

- Spacious interior.
- Displays are arranged around the edge of the room, from sitting height.
- Tables displaying Morse Code equipment are a variety of heights, all with knee access.
