External access and entrance
  • Access from the accessible parking bays to the museum is through the car park and a kerb ramp with a 2cm lip at the top.
  • There is a downward slope approximately 20 metres in length with a gradient averaging 1:17 to the paved, level forecourt at the chapel entrance.
  • The entrance has double doors, 65cm wide when one door is open. Both doors can be latched fully open during events. There is a 10cm step at the door.

Internal area
  • The small chapel has one wide central carpeted aisle.  Moveable pews are either side of this aisle. The 2 steps up to the pulpit have no handrail.
  • There is space at front of church for a wheelchair however there is no designated wheelchair seating areas.
  • Seating in the church is wooden pews with a backrest.
