Closest accessible parking

  • There are two outdoor, accessible parking bays located on either side of the wide pathway that leads to the main entry approximately 3 metres away.
  • The bays are identified with faded line markings and the access symbol and have a level, bitumen surface.
  • The bay on the left side of the main entrance is 240cm wide and the bay on the right is 340cm wide. Both bays are 540cm long.
  • Vehicle access from: Star Street
  • Pedestrian access: There is direct, level access between the accessible parking bays to the wide undercover walkway that leads to the main entry.

External access and entrance
  • The approach to the main entrance is via a wide, level, brickpaved pathway that is undercover.
  • These large double doors in the main entry allow a space of 85cm when one door is open. 
  • The door has a D handle and is held open during service times.

Internal area
  • The entry door opens into a large spacious foyer that has a 77cm high table with information brochures. A  brochure stand extends from 88cm to 180cm high.

Church
  • Large double doors are held open during the service.  
  • The Church is a spacious, carpeted area with a wide central aisle and moveable seating that provides flexible seating options.  People using mobility devices are able to be seated at the end of the rows, at the front or at the rear of the room. Seating consists of lightweight plastic chairs without armrests.
  • The fixed height lectern is located at the front of the Church up one step.

Function Room
  • A large, function room is located off the foyer via a wide concertina style door.
  • There are a varierty of chairs with or without armrests. 
  • Moveable trestle style tables are 73cm high with 70cm knee space. 
  • There is a counter servery 91cm high.

Meeting room
  • A meeting room is located off the foyer via a swing entry door 76cm wide.
  • There are moveable tables and a variety of chairs with and without armrests.
  • A standard manual wheelchair is stored in this room and is available for visitors.

Outdoor covered area
  • A covered outdoor area located at the rear of the building is utilised for the Carlisle Food Centre and Op Shop.
  • This outdoor area can be accessed off the internal corridor via a swing door 75cm wide with D handle.
  • Alternative rear access to this outdoor area is via an external gate entrance 82cm wide.
