    Visitor Centre car park
  • Two accessible car parking bays located in the sealed car park identified with a sign at the head of the bay and faded blue line markings.
  • Bays are outdoors with bitumen surface, have a gradient front to back of 1:14 and are 3.9 metres wide and 5 metres long.
  • Vehicle access from: Two Peoples Bay Road.
  • Pedestrian access:
    • There is a kerb approximately 5 to 8cm high at the head of the bays which leads to a compacted limestone and gravel path.
    • Alternate access is provided through the car parking area at the rear of the bays leading to a level paved area connecting to the path.

Closest accessible parking

    Picnic area car park
  • One accessible parking bay clearly identified with a sign at the head of the bay.
  • Car park has a compacted gravel surface. The bay slopes from left to right with a gradient of 1:28.
  • The bay is 3.5 metres wide and 6 metres long.
  • Vehicle access from: Two Peoples Bay Road
  • Pedestrian access:
    • Access to the picnic area crosses the beach road and is firm, compacted gravel.

Internal area
Visitors Centre
  • The wide compacted limestone path from the accessible parking bays in the Visitors Centre car park to the Visitors Centre is about 60 metres long.
  • Seating without armrests is provided along the path.
  • There is a timber decked ramp to the Visitors Centre.
Picnic Area
  • The picnic area is about 50 metres from the accessible parking bay in the picnic area car park.
  • The paths are compacted gravel, changing to compacted sand and limestone.
Connecting path between the Visitor Centre and Picnic Area
  • There is a clear area of compacted limestone path which connects the Visitors Centre and the picnic area.
  • The path is approximately 350 metres long and has some steep sections with gradients up to 1:8.
To reach the Beach
  • The edge of the beach is located approximately 65 metres from the picnic area car park, reached via the roadway that terminates at the beach.
  • The beach often has a heavy deposit of weed which makes it difficult for pedestrians to reach.
  • This section of beach is primarily used to launch boats for recreational and commercial fishing.
  • The edge of the beach offers panoramic views across Two Peoples Bay.

Picnic facilities
  • The picnic area is a clearing containing ten timber bench seats with heights that vary between 40cm and 50cm.
  • There is a picnic table located at the rear of the Visitors Centre over compacted limestone and gravel.
  • It has fixed bench seating and on both sides of the 80cm high table with a seating space at the end suitable for a wheelchair user.
  • There is a water tap in the picnic area at a height of 20cm.

Barbecues
  • Four barbecues located in the picnic area range between 88cm and 92cm high with the controls at sitting height.
  • They are set on a concrete and brick pad and are partially shaded by the tree canopy.

Visitors Centre
  • Wide timber deck ramp to the Visitors Centre is 4.8 metres long with a gradient of 1:20 and handrails on both sides.
  • The Visitors Centre is open plan with numerous displays located on the walls.  The displays have large buttons which, when pressed, gives verbal information on the subject being viewed.
  • Information boards are in large, clear print in good colour contrast.
  • There is a small external decked area with fixed bench seating.
