    • The bays is located at the base of the Pioneer World precinct which is set onto a hilly area.
    • Access from the bay is down approximtaley 20 metres of driveway to a ramp which leads to the base of the precinct. The wide slab ramp has a vehicle mountable kerb at the base, it is 13 metres long with a gradient from 1:11 to 1:7. The ramp does not have a handrail.
    • Alternatively there are three steps without a handrail.

External access and entrance
The path from the accesisble parking bay up to the café is up an incline through a range of path surfaces.
There is a ramp up from the path to the wooden verandah around the café.
A wire door 90cm wide, light to open with no self closing mechanism. Door has a lever handle.

  • Food displays are at sitting height and payment counter is at 1.1 metres.
  • Users of wheelchairs and walking aids may need to have tables moved in order to reach the counter and retail food displays.

  • Description: A unisex accessible toilet located at the end of the café verandah / alfresco dining area.
    There is a wooden ramp from the verandah to the toilets. Ramp is 1.1 metres wide and 4 metres long with a gradient averaging 1:11. There are guide rails on each side of the ramp.
  • Signage: Directional signage from the café to the toilet includes the access symbol.
  • Main entrance: Double doors, 1 metre wide when the second door is unlocked and opened.
  • Toilet door: An 80cm wide door with a knob handle and a small twist lock. Light to open with no self closing mechanism.
